Watching these helped me Thursday and Friday when it was all I could do to get out of my truck and check my traps . Thankfully whatever that was is gone

Total Body Day 3 this morning.

Still getting used to starting this one with Leg Curls.  I wanted to get

the hamstrings some work while I was fresh and that will do it.

Completed 3 working sets of the 5 scheduled movements.

Showing the last 2 sets of each here.

Total Body Day 4 this morning.

After sufficient warm ups, I completed 3 working sets of the 5 scheduled movements.

Showing the last 2 sets of each here.

When I manage to get this right, my body lets me know it.

This one felt like that.

No clue why this video is not visible ?

During my warm ups on Leg Presses this morning,

I noticed a weld has failed on my PowerTec Leverage unit.

WB-LSpart07.jpg.063f8468e4b02844b2996a5bdc1b95e8.jpg

REALLY glad I saw this before it actually failed,

Because I was a few minutes away from adding the weight that would have

surely turned this into something else.

The unit is 14 years old and I have replaced a few smaller deals during that time.

Not sure if this part is still available but I sent the manufacture my request and

we'll wait & see how that goes.

Either way, my training will need to be modified a bit until this is resolved.

Really hope I don't need to get a new unit.

A good welder should be able to repair that. Possible even made stronger than originally. I guess that all depends on whether you can remove that section to take to to an accomplished welding shop. Otherwise moving the whole thing would probably be a workout in and of itself.

Hope you get it resolved soon.

Thanks and that has been discussed as well.

One way or the other we'll get it done.

Total Body Day 1 this morning but there were a couple of modifications made.

My Powertec unit suffered a broken weld on the movement arm.

So until that is replaced/repaired, I'll be working around that.

No plans to let that little deal slow me down.

I'm at the very beginning of  at least 5 months of not much to do

except eat, sleep & train.

Feel like right now I'm in a good place fitness wise

but still very interested to find out where this journey takes me.

Either way, I'm going to keep grinding.

Total Body Day 3 this morning.

Body weight's right @165 lbs now and it feels pretty good.

Added a set of PlateMate 1 1/4 lb. Magnetic Hex Weights (2.5 lb. Set) to home gym last week. Doubles my DB collection as I'm able to train with in-between weights.

I like it.

Total Body Day 3 this morning.

At 64 years old, just mustering up the drive to get in the gym every other day, is a major victory all by itself.

Adding drive & determination to push yourself to do what you didn't know you could,

has far reaching benefits that go well beyond just the physical and mental confidence.

Helping to manage and be willing to cope with life's Stress come to mind.

So, turns out YouTube's algorithm can only recommend so many of @A-Jay's workout videos when you're slouched on the couch, balancing the last slice of that large pepperoni pizza on top of your belly while you open another can of soda before you think "huh... maybe this is not my best life".

Reached 270+ lbs somewhere between 2019 and 2020, started watching what I eat in late 2021. Last year our new office building opened and they added a little gym near the parking lot so I started working out, adding a few resistance training exercises to make sure I didn't lose a lot of muscle mass. Turns out I had the arm strength of a 12 year old girl. Seriously, it looks like someone stuck two toothpicks on a yam.

2 years later I'm down to 175-ish, depending on how stressful my week was. Was able to add a little muscle mass, but not much. Focusing on that now.

Pros: I can move and do stuff and fit in regular sized places. Now my back doesn't start hurting for no reason just standing there casting a lure.

Cons: It's been fun getting new clothes and gear, but kind of expensive too 😅

Total Body Day 2 this morning.

Started of with a Step Back Lunge, which always gets my attention.

Ended with some core work that just never gets any easier.

Also I am enjoying eating perhaps just a little more than I need.
