My hats off to anyone who can stick to a work out/diet. I was 330-335lbs at one time. I am down to 205-210lbs. I try my best to maintain portion control. Between my job and my dog I walk anywhere from 7-13 miles a day.

Took my scheduled day off as well an additional maintenance day.

Back at it this morning with Total Body 2.

Performed a useful warm up and then two working sets of 6 movements.

Amazing what an extra 24 hours can do, huh?

No doubt ~

But as a veteran resistance trainer,

there's a fine line between adequate rest and waking up totally stiff.

Makes that next pre-workout warm up even more important.

Happy to report that I’ve been able to start lifting regularly again light-ish with my hurt shoulder. I still deal with some pain and discomfort and expect it to continue for some time but nowadays if I wanted to lift, fish, and cook all in the same evening, that is not out of the question Done it multiple times already. My pain level is much lower than it used to be with high tolerance for activity. So I’ve got some use and function and hope it increases over time and then I can get an idea of what the long term outlook of my shoulder is. Another doctor’s opinion should help too.

And I’m with @GaryH, you never stop @A-Jay!

@LrgmouthShad so happy to hear you're trending in a positive direction.

As for never stopping,

figure several workouts a week for 2,250 weeks give or take.

Stopping doesn't seem like an option.

Stay Strong

Good to hear, man. Hope you keep strengthening and mobilizing everything up in there and keep it flowing in a positive direction. Hopefully the injury is more of a short term set-back and your workouts are a long term routine.

There's always at least 1 'Pull' type movement in each of my total body workouts.

Today that was chin ups.

I prefer an under hand grip.

I love chin ups. For a long time, I had a bar in the door to the kitchen. Knock out 20 to warm up before getting into 12 oz. curls.

New Year’s resolution? Continued health.

Yes ~

It was sort of a tongue & cheek comment.

I do plan on leaning out quite a bit

but that happens every year so . . . . .

Just hate that my head & face start to look like

Skeletor a month before my core.
