Workout 3 this morning and I got straight down to business.

There is almost always a HUGE difference between the way I feel before my workout - and After.

The after is highly recommended.

Workout one this morning.

Seeing slow but steady progress for several weeks now.

Can't really ask for more than that.

Workout two today.

I was surely feeling the way too many hours of yard work completed yesterday.

This one was decent but I will need two days off.

The old guy just can't hang like he used to.

How heavy do you train at your age?

It's all relative.

My goal is to stay balanced , flexible and strong.  And by strong, I mean that I want to be able to have whatever my everyday life requires me to do, be easy.  So my training is the hardest thing I do.  But there's a fine line between challenging myself and staying within my self.  Just because I can doesn’t necessarily mean I should.  Being injured especially now is a crisis.  I'm just getting over a knee strain that scared the hell out of me.

My advice is to always do less.  You'll be way better off in the long run, and that's what this whole deal is all about. Taking off days between workout has been beneficial.

After a couple of scheduled off days it was workout 3 this morning.

Felt pretty good.

I'll be switching things up starting on my next training day.

Going to a double three day split routine; Legs-Push-Pull.

I'll post it once I start it.

Looking forward to the change & the challenge.

Thank you my friend I appreciate it.

Lynn's been riding a rough road for a couple of months now.

But we're taking it one day at a time and thankful for every one.

Hope you & Dee are fairing well.

Changing my workout routine and it started today.

Leg Day 1, wasn't very exciting but it surely seemed effective.

Completed Push 1 this morning.

Still super early but I'm liking this routine quite a bit already.

Feels new yet so very familiar.

Had to dig deep to get this one done.

But Gym Rat Rule # 1 is NEVER, And I mean Never,

skip Leg day.

Push Workout 2 this morning.

My time in the home gym every other day is more important now than it's ever been.

For many different reasons.

Last Thursday's upper body and core routine left me pretty much out of commission until yesterday. I'll be back at it tomorrow for a full body with focus on legs. Never skip leg day lol.

Standing for extended periods on the bow of the Pro-V Bass

can make the OG legs a bit weary.

This is one way to help that out.

Why do you think I put a seat on the front deck for Bass Trek? OG legs, and not enough exercise.
