Traps & Shoulders this morning.

Done using 4 of the Brig-20 recommended movements.

Showing the last working set of each one in this clip.

As I acclimate to this deal I’ll add resistance,

but for now I’m keeping it moderate and getting the reps.

Looks good buddy...oughta "likes" today, but I'll get ya

Thank you my friend.

I put most of these clips in the 'motivational' category.

Still with the 50 - 100 views they each get and the 20k views on this thread,

hope folks are getting something out of them.

At 62, I know I surely am.

Back & Chest Day ~

First time I've posted these back exercises.

Been doing them for a while but I had to 'find the groove'.

I think I've got it.

After a scheduled day off, I was back in the home gym this morning.

They say the legs are the first to go.

Hoping I can delay that a bit longer . . . . .

It’s funny huh? They say to grow (work) the legs and the body will grow…when you’re young

I don’t get it….?

Yup ~ and I'm just trying like gangbusters to keep the little I have.

It's a battle - both to feed it (and not look like the Hindenburg) and train it safely.

Looking forward to tomorrow's Chest & Back work.

Some of yesterday's Chest & Back work ~

Today looks like a double shoulder workout day.

First one in the home gym

and second one involves a snow shovel . . .

Total Body # 2 this morning.

Step Back Lunges with a knee up & ankle weights had me grinding pretty good.

As a 'veteran' resistance trainer, there's a fine line between pushing it

and blowing something up.

Not a fan of the later.

Very impressive my man.....at any age.

Thanks for sharing your regimen.

Myself at 61, it's all about reps and minimal rest in between, basically strength training X cardio.

I personally avoid anything related to power lifting but could perhaps learn a thing or two.

Thank you for the support - I certainly appreciate it.

I hear ya on the power lifting deal.

We do what we can do and we're both so much better for it.

I just want this training to support my life.

So making these workouts every other day, the hardest thing I do,

grocery shopping & putting out the trash can should be a piece of cake.

Off day tomorrow

Sorry to hear you were hurt but glad to know you're back on the mend.

Trying to "Burn" Calories never worked for me - tried for a long time.

I Ran, I Biked, I lived a very active lifestyle.

My job was very demanding physically.

Then I figured out I was over eating, I would have needed to jump rope

up & over MT Kilimanjaro twice a day to burn off just half of what I was stuffing in the pie hole.

So I stopped eating so much.

 This DID Work for me.

Eating more of the good stuff and less or none of the what wasn't helping me,

did the trick.

So when I'm exercising portion control and having 4 or 5 (up to 6 now) small balanced meals a day, and I mean small, I can control my body fat without ever doing a LICK of Cardio.

The single best advice I can offer to anyone who is 'trying to lose weight" is

If you're not hungry 24/7, you're heading the wrong way.

There's just no way around it - and it needs to be that way forever.

Might be tough to hear or even understand, but that's the deal IMO.
