The guy next door has one he wants me to try out. It has no documentation and no mounting hardware. I wouldn't mind trying it out but don't see how I can keep it on my motor.

Anyone got a clue??

Try it out for what purpose? Unless you are having hole shot problems I don't see any reason to try it out. I have a "Leading Edge" on my motor that is a metal plate with the trailing edge tipped down. It does help my hole shot.

To mount mine you set the hydrofoil under the anti cavitation plate and mark the holes in the hydrofoil on the anticavitation plate. Drill holes through the cavitation plate. Fasten the hydrofoil to the anticavitation with stainless bolts and stainless elastic stop nuts.

I am not drilling holes in a $12000 motor.  I am willing to try it out for the neighbor if I can find the proper connectors.  I don't need a hole shot.  Just helping out the guy next door, maybe.

The XRIII is supposed to mount without drilling holes.

That may be true but it has to have some hardware which is not present.
