Super User bigbill Posted October 15, 2017 Super User Posted October 15, 2017 Looks like the bass fisherman in the northeast had some nice warm weather to keep fishing. I hope it continues. But watch out for the weather to shift and a cold front to hit all of a sudden it's going to turn cold. That's my gut feeling. Can't trust this weather. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted October 15, 2017 Super User Posted October 15, 2017 Yep, we’re having an unseasonably warm fall here in the northeast. I’m loving it. It’s kepts the fishing hot and the topwater bite is still going. Quote
Super User DogBone_384 Posted October 15, 2017 Super User Posted October 15, 2017 I fished in Plymouth, MA for a little bit today. My Lowrance reportd 67.x degrees while I was there. I agree with you Bill, enjoy it while it’s still here because Mother Nature’s gonna throw the switch and bass season turns to trout season right quick .... Quote
BuzzHudson19c Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Yeah buddy. It's going to take a few cold fronts to knock this water temp down. Depending on what happens we could have 3 weeks of pretty active fishing. I don't think I've ever caught a topwater bass in November, but this could be the year. 1 Quote
boostr Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Looks like Wednesday it'll be back in the 70s. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 16, 2017 Super User Posted October 16, 2017 Weekend of the 8th, I was floating on the Schroon River, catching smallies and bluegill wearing shorts and a t, while my girlfriend was in a bathing suit. Pretty crazy! 1 Quote
