Tyloo Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Anyone use these? Just purchased a few of them to try out. Quote
GreenGhostMan Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Yes. A good frog. My 2nd favorite behind live target. Pad crashers are soft and collapse well. Don't take on water as easily as most brands. Good frog for the money in my opinion. 2 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 15, 2017 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 15, 2017 Definitely a great frog! Durable, good hook-ups, doesn't take on water, and catches fish! 1 Quote

I prefer the Crasher Jr. 1 Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted October 15, 2017 Super User Posted October 15, 2017 Good frog. Do they make a solid black? I know its all in my head, but the poison arrow frog thing just irks me a tad... Quote
Looking for the big one Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Reason, I've seen a black with red accents, a black with yellow accents, and a black with blue accents. Quote
Super User Koz Posted October 15, 2017 Super User Posted October 15, 2017 Love it! It's the first frog out of my tackle bag. Quote
BrackishBassin Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 The most productive frog in my box, by far. Outfishes the Spro everyday. I feel like the softer body on Pad Crasher makes it much easier to hook up with fish as compared to the stiffer body on the Spros. I wanted to like the Spro frogs because they offer colors that Booyah doesn’t, but they just don’t compare. In my opinion. Quote
Super User the reel ess Posted October 16, 2017 Super User Posted October 16, 2017 It's my second favorite. The Poppin' Pad Crasher is my favorite. I've noticed that when you throw a frog on a mat of lilies it helps to make a disturbance and not just pull it across the pads. The popper disturbs the pads more. And when you get it into the open it offers a little more action with the "pop" and walks more easily. Quote

The Live Targets are the best frogs I've ever used but they also cost like 80% more than a Spro or the Pad Crasher too. Can't go wrong with either really. 1 Quote
Super User ChrisD46 Posted October 16, 2017 Super User Posted October 16, 2017 Search Jason Christie + Pad Crasher for more info - the above posts are true ... Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted October 16, 2017 BassResource.com Administrator Posted October 16, 2017 I'm using the Pad Crasher in this video... 1 Quote
Pro Logcatcher Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 One of the only frogs I have in my tackle bag! Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 16, 2017 Super User Posted October 16, 2017 I tried them the instant they came out, before they were a sponsor here, and loved them. Great frog at a reasonable price. Quote

Still a great frog, I like the little bit of yellow Quote

Makes me wonder if they've discontinued it. http://www.booyahbaits.com/booyah-pad-crasher But fish can't see the yellow on the back of the frog anyway. Maybe it helps anglers see it. Quote

boostr Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Awesome frog, and yes they still make the Black and Blue frog. Just bought one not to long ago. Quote

The local Wal-Marts near me actually started carrying the booyah pad crasher this summer and only in the solid black color. Check your local Wally world! Quote
primetime Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, I think it is hard to beat. I like both sizes and also like the thinner body. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 19, 2017 Global Moderator Posted October 19, 2017 I prefer the popping Pad Crasher to the regular version. Cricket frog and Sunburn are my go to colors. Really wish they'd start offering Albino Frog in the popping version. Quote
Jaderose Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Yep. like others, it's my second favorite. I prefer Scumfrog Trophy series only because they are slightly heavier and seem to be a little more stable (don't flip over quite as easily). Can't go wrong with the PC, though. 1 Quote
RB 77 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 My favorite frog and IMO the best bang for your buck. Quote
