I was looking on amazon and I found paca  chunks in Bama bug color. I was wondering if this is a good color for a black and blue jig.

Sure, but any color would work good. There are no rules in fishing. Use whatever works best for the conditions you're fishing. Just because it looks good to you doesn't mean the fish think it looks good. Experiment with different styles, actions, and colors to find what fits your needs bestb in the body of water you are fishing, at that particular time.

You can put anything on a black and blue jig as long as it’s not white but I guess even that would work .

Some people purposely mismatch their jigs and trailers.

Black jig with white trailer, and green (like kelly) jig with purple trailer in dirty water after a downpour.

OP: I like a solid black jig with a solid blue trailer, but I think pretty much any color combination works most of the time, I think the size, weight, trailer action and fall rate are more important than color.

I was doing this the other day, the bite was tough until I put a green pumpkin trailer on my black and blue jig, then I started smoking em. Op, don’t overthink your jig colors, keep it simple with 3 colors max.

If you like the way it looks, the bass will too.

I agree with this.  If you like the way a jig looks, you'll fish it hard and catch fish
