Angealy Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 The journey is finally over, We now have a sailing boat and we cleaned it out yesterday. With that being said, We couldn't get the on board to started up but we do know it sounded fine starting up the first time. I can try and figure out what is wrong with the on board could be due to a loose connection, bad batteries, or some sort of problem down the line we'll see. I'm pretty handy with those kind of things 1 Quote

Super User Way2slow Posted October 9, 2017 Super User Posted October 9, 2017 Probably work pretty good for trolling, but going to be h**l trying to fish in the back of most coves when you want to cast. 2 Quote
Super User WRB Posted October 9, 2017 Super User Posted October 9, 2017 Sail boats appear to be low maintenance....they are not! Salt water docked boats are a daily cleaning issue, do you plan on living on your boat? Kick back and enjoy life, nice boat. Tom 1 Quote

Yeah, Trolling should be alright but we'll see about stand still/coves/etc. 3 hours ago, WRB said: Sail boats appear to be low maintenance....they are not! Tom You sir are correct, Right now the inside of it needs to be wiped down and cleaned. Pretty much it needs some serious love and care and that goes for the outside as well. As for living on the boat, We could do that but right now our focus is to use it for weekend trips. I know what salt can do to a rods/reels/etc not fun so i can only imagine what it can do to a boat. 2 hours ago, NHBull said: That's definitely a way to become a drop-off shotter.....nice boat!
