Brett's_daddy Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Okay, which of these two would you get and why? I would like a cold water crank heading into the Fall bite. The KVD's are $5.79 each at TW while the Yo-Zuri's are on clearance for $4 each at Sierra Trading Post. I have enough baits that I know you can't go by price alone (well, unless it's an insane deal) when comparing brands so i would like input from people who have actual hands on experience with one or both baits. I love yo zuri, such beautiful looking baits if you go for the 3d crystal series. Awesome action Quote
Super User burrows Posted October 7, 2017 Super User Posted October 7, 2017 Yo zuri, because I like Japanese baits. Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted October 7, 2017 Super User Posted October 7, 2017 I really like the Yo-Zuri flat side crank but it isn't what you want for cold water. The Yo-Zuri flat side only dives to 2' deep, it has a shovel bill that gives it a wide kick and erratic action making it ideal for shallow warm water. A really good cold water flat crank that gets overlooked is the Bomber Flat "A" and the Deep Flat "A". Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Spro Little Johns but they aint cheap. As said I would look into the Bomber Flat A series Quote
frogflogger Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Is the Bagley B flat still available? Quote

Ok, I just checked them out on the Yo-Zuri website, I haven't seen those before and never knew they made one in that series. I'm ordering a few of those myself in the Prism Tennessee Shad and Prism Fire Tiger which should be a good perch imitator. Thanks for asking about these, I'm a big fan of the Rapala DT Flat 7s, a really good cooler water crank and a great change up in warm water that gets bit in clear and pressured water. Quote
