I have a question I really needed answered, what is the best rod action and rod taper for shallow, square bill, and deep diving cranks. For the answer why is it that type of rod, and any rod suggestions in the $50-$100 range

This is very general.

 

M - small squarebills

MH - larger squarebills to mid-depth

H - deep divers
