GoneFishingLTN Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 How much is it to buy/install a jack plate roughly for a 150 hp mec? Sorry for the basic question just hoping some one has experience this Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 eBay and Craigslist will be your best bet as far as price for the actual Jack plate. I purchased my CMC power lift new on eBay for $700 shipped a couple weeks ago. I install mine myself but my local Marine shop charges about 1 1/2 - 2 hr labor to install a hydraulic plate ($85 per hr). Quote
3dees Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 depends on what you want. manual or hydraulic? big difference in price. what size? they come in 4-12". what boat? most tin boats will void the warranty if you add a jp. Ranger will add one only from the factory. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted September 29, 2017 Super User Posted September 29, 2017 There's a few reasons why you'd want a jackplate, and that determines what you get. Contact Bob's, and tell them what you want to do: http://www.bobsmachine.com/ 2 Quote
Frisbie385 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I just had a Z-Lock manual jack plate installed with one universal Talon bracket at a shop here in MW MO. The final bill was around $850 installed and I purchased everything from the installer. Quote
dbaros Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 The other option you might want to consider if you are looking for a plate with no shake or rattle is SeaStar Jackplate. Quote
Super User fishnkamp Posted February 23, 2018 Super User Posted February 23, 2018 Are you looking for a manual or hydraulic. Check out T&H Marine for both the CMC and Atlas jack plates. Bob's is another supplier and Vance is a third one. Quote
