WolverineVanFish Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Ive spent alot of time fishing the whopper plopper and this is what Ive learned: 90 gets more bites but the 110 and the 130 gets bigger bites. If you throw it in a spot that looks good and you do not get a hit, throw it in there again. Fishing it fast , very fast, is sometimes the way to go. I think the whopper plopper gets a bass' interest but if it is not moving fast, they can swim along side it and inspect it. If it is moving fast they dont have time to think - they just react. Im not sure if the reaction stems from an instinct to eat it or an instinct to be territorial. My last insight is that it is sooo good in choppy water, and too much noise in calm water. When the water is still I prefer a spook. Hope this helps! 1 Quote
