RIP my brother

My brother outta Virginia was found dead this morning. My other brother went to wake him up this am. He woke up for a few minutes then was dead when he went back to make sure he was up 15 minutes later. They were headed to see his daughter today then headed out to California. This was their last run. They were retiring next summer. Brother was sitting next to me drinking, smoking, and chilling Friday night. We had a blast walking around the drags. Enjoying the sights and sounds. 62 and was running around like a kid out there. We had an absolute blast. He bailed on us yesterday when we all went and hung out. Now he's gone. My other brother that was staying with him is torn apart, these two have known each other since they were kids. Theyve been running the roads together for 40 plus years. His hurt is so much worse than mine. Please send prayers to him and both their families.

 

So, I guess all I can say is, brother you will be missed. You ain't deserve this. I hope you ain't hurt when you went out. You will live forever now brother. You will never hurt again. I miss you brother. You were one of the few people that I viewed as my brother. Brother we gonna hold it down for you. We will meet again one day. Brother you running those golden streets now. Your memory will be eternal. Why'd you have to leave us so soon. Well, be good my brother. Ill see you on the other side. Ride hard and Live free forever brother. Until we meet again. In Brotherhood we trust.

i lost my older brother, he was my mentor, we fished, hunted and shot together. He was only 52yo. I miss him everyday now for over 20+ years. It never goes away. He was a sportsman. 

 

We will seen them again. Our bodies are vessels to get us to the next life. I hope there is fishing.

I just don't get it. Why did he have to go. Why the hell was he taken from all us. This man would give you the shirt off his back if you asked him too. He would do anything for a brother in need. Why the hell did he have to go so soon!!! Why did he have to be taken from us? He was retiring in less than a year. I only knew him for less than a year, and he touched my life in an amazing way. Between him and Old Man I learned so much about what brotherhood means. About what it means to do what we do, and why we do it. The two of them took me under their wings and taught me so much. He and old man were two of my best friends. At least I still have old man around I guess. I'm sorry for rambling. Thanks for the kind words and thoughts.
