Super User fourbizz Posted November 16, 2006 Super User Posted November 16, 2006 I will preface this by saying that I am IN NO WAY AFFILIATED with this company, just trying to pass a good deal along. I ordered 60 jigs and 720 soft plastics baits from these guys. The quality is very good and the prices are simply unbeatable. 1000 5" stick baits for $60 sound good?!?!?!? It isn't only bulk either. They will sell out pretty quick, thats why I already got mine! http://www.swimbait.com/assalt/closeout.htm Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 16, 2006 Super User Posted November 16, 2006 Those are some smokin' prices! Best price I've ever seen on DT Spider Jigs.....ordered quite a few 60 bags. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 16, 2006 Author Super User Posted November 16, 2006 60 for the price of ten aint too bad in my book! The quality on the plastics is pretty good, and the jigs are great. Quote

Plastik Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Has anyone recieved their items yet? I just ordered a couple of the 1k bags and want to know about how long they will take. Quote
Tucson Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Checked out the website - great prices without a doubt but when ready to order I noticed it said "Supplies are limited. If we can not fill the order your payment will be partially refunded". Not too sure about that partial refund. What does that mean? Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Yeah Ive also checked it out and the prices are simply amazing. But can you truly trust the company? Are they going to rip you off some how? And what Tucson said, if I order something and they dont have the item in stock, I expect a full refund, not a "partial" refund! Just seems to be to good to be true to me, there has to be a catch. Is this website trustable or what? Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 21, 2006 Author Super User Posted November 21, 2006 I already received my first order, waiting on the second. I ordered again because the baits are great. It took about a week and a half. The partial refund means that they will ship whichever part of your order they have and refund you for what they don't. Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 So your saying there is no catch? Like I said it seems to good to be true haha. Is this really true? 5.00 for a 60pack of salt-stix? There is no catch?? Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 One more quick question just before I say what the hell and order em hah. If you were to line the salt-stix worm along side the GYCB senko or the along side the YUM dinger will they look exactly alike? By this I mean are they just as fat? Are they as soft? Do they have the same texture? I understand that you can't expect a cheap bait to be just as good as a GYCB senko, but I just want to make sure the bait isn't crappy lol. Have you had success with these worms? Sorry for all the questions, its just that I want to make sure im getting a good deal, as I will be buying 50$ in worms. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted November 21, 2006 Author Super User Posted November 21, 2006 They are the same dimensions as a GYCB, but they are a little firmer. not too much though IMO. With an owner riggin hook, they fall just fine. I don't often use senkos though. No catch as far as I can see. They are a good company. The plastics are decent, the jigs are great. Quote
earthworm77 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Assalt makes good plastics. I make my own stuff and I still ordered a bunch from them. I ordered the 12th and got em the next week. Very quickly. I'm sure they are being bogged down with hufge orders so be patient. Quote
Infidel. Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Well, there goes my source for inexpensive baits. Once everyone gets their baits in and finds out how good they are they are going to be gone for sure. Looks like I'll have to go back to paying full price. By the way, their hula-grubs are great! Quote
Tucson Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Thanks for the clarification fourbizzle. I placed a nice fat order today for salt stix and hula grubs. C'mon UPS! Quote
The_Natural Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I wish they had more colors in the 5" hulas Quote
Super User 5bass Posted November 22, 2006 Super User Posted November 22, 2006 Got my order today, order was placed on the 16th.Not bad from Cali to Va. The DT Hula grubs arent quite as thick as I like 'em but they'll do.Jigs look good, salt stix are quite firm.....I'm going to fill the bags with some Lunker Sauce and see if that helps 'em out at all.At those prices,I'm satisfied with everything I got. shimanogloomis man Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 i got my 26 stand up jigs it took 5 days to receive them but i cant wait to try thrm out oh yea i live in nj Quote
justfishin Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 Gee, thanks a lot. Now I am going to be spoiled paying such a low price for Sticks and Jigs, lol. I like the Jigs. Maybe if I give my partner some he won't make me go in and root for a snagged jig and blow the hole all to shirt !!!,lol. Thanks for the tip. Quote
Top Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 well I got my order and it wasn't right... they didn't have 120 of one color I ordered and only sent HALF of another color... they didn't charge me for the one that they had none of but charged me full price for the ones they sent half of... I just looked at my pay pal account and they didn't refund me any money yet... I emailed them asking what the situation would be beings I know that they are getting hammered with orders... I am not upset as I am sure with the volume they are pumping out right now one mix up isn't bad... just waiting on a reply on how they are going to fix this... they still owe me $6.99 and 60 double tail hula grubs AL Quote
CK14 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 i got my order today and it was all there. 60 hula grubs 60 salt shaker worms (great for drop shoting) 120 single tail grubs 60 4" stick baits 60 perch grubs all for $25 ;D Quote
bassdocktor Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Awesome pirces for some great looking stuff. Thanks Quote
Top Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I emailed them, and the guy that emailed me back was VERY nice... he said he was going to look into it and get back with me... the next day he did saying he was very sorry yada yada yada and that he would make it right and then ASKED me how I wanted him to make it right... VERY COOL! I emailed him back and I will let y'all know when this is fixed... I am VERY optomistic that its going to work out great... Pete Wolf (the guy that emailed me) seems like quite the stand up guy! That is how customer service should act! AL Quote
Top Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 just wanted to give a quick update... today I recieved a package that made right the errors on my origional orders... I am very pleased with the outcome and I have already ordered more baits from them without hesitation... AL Quote
