I'm looking to back country camp in LBL this fall and bringing my kayak. Either late October or early November. I've never fished Barkley or KY lake before. I have no clue which bays would be good. Since I'll be on a kayak, I'll be confined to one bay mostly. Plan to set up camp on the bay if I can find a good spot on or near one. Anyone have any suggestions on what bay(s) would be good?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Where is Cyprus bay?  Is it on KY or Barkley?  I'm going to be camping at LBL, so it would have to be either on the east side of KY or west side of Barkley.

I'd head to Sugar or Duncan on the KY side of LBL. Ford's or Pryor on the Barkley side of LBL.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!  Is late October a good time to go?  Will the bass be up shallow and active then?  Or should I go earlier/later?  Like I said, first time fishing these lakes!!  I'm taking some new anglers and would like to get them catching some fish.
