I think the fact that my bass thumb hasn't fully healed in months says a lot.

I know what you mean. It gets so raw that you dread lipping them because you just know they're gonna shake.

Starting last year, the family beach vacation is 14 days, and I fish hard every day. My brothers and I are zombies by the end of it but we keep going.

Regardless of weather, fishing conditions, or anything, I don't think I ever fish less than 3 days a week. Usually 5 or more.

only 4 days in a row for me.  Fishing out of a kayak I definitely feel it, physically, but only afterwards.  I can do like 10-12 straight hours and while I'm in the kayak on the water the fatigue doesn't get me, only after getting home or loading it up.

I'm lucky. My FD schedule lets me work two jobs and still get out once or twice a week, especially when the rest of the family is at school or work.  When the second job slows I sometimes get out three days straight.  I don't fish weekends, that's family time.

My kayak is on my ladder rack from April to October-ish.

even a couple of hours a day just makes for a better day

Absolutely! I get up for work at 5am. There are times I will get up at 4am and hit a pond for an hr before work. My buddies think I'm nuts, but it makes the day so much easier.

I work 10 days on and 4 off, so usually I get out 2 of my days off and fish form daylight till dark, usually year around, unless we have a bad winter, I spend the other 2 days getting my work done.

Consecutive, is around 8 to 13 days around 3 times a year when we camp on the lake.

Getting ready to go on our 12 day last camp of the year.

Yeah same here but kind of reversed, I work second shift so I work 4 pm till midnight, so I'll go home and get to bed by 1 am and wake up at 4:30 to get some fishing in for sunrise. I love early mornings Bc nobody is ever out and the fish are always biting.

Mostly I fish on the weekends but during spring and fall I get out more. Most consecutive days would be 10. 7 on a fishing trip to Black Lake, NY and 3 days directly after that because it was fall and the smallies on the river were biting big time.

I use to fish 300+ days a year before I was married with kids. Now it's probably closer to 100 days a year. I keep rods in my car and have a 45 minute drive back and forth to work each day, and I drive past several bodies of water in doing so. Combine that with the fact that I work nights, so I'm driving past these bodies of water in the morning when the bite is often at it's best, I do a lot of quick 15-30 minute stops to try the high percentage areas.

I use to  fish almost every day .  I had a Dodge panel van and I put   rod racks in it. When I got off work I'd go fishing . I hit a lot of irrigation ditches and lakes formed by levees on the Mississippi river . Lots of big bass in those spots . I had good balance in those days and use to tightrope down concrete culverts , flip a jig and land 5 to 7 lb bass consistently and never fell in . LOL

How many days consecutively , I have no idea but it was  a lot .

Black lake was great. We fished it in late September and the smallies were fat and fighting. The first fish I hooked into had to be in the 4-5 pound range unfortunately I didn't get him to the boat. He jumped twice and threw the hook. Not only were the fish big but there was a lot of them. Not just smallies but largemouths as well. Wish I could go back every year. If you get a chance to go, go.

That sounds awesome! I live in western NY so it's not that far of a drive for me , maybe. 3/12 -4 hours.  I'll have to try it out someday!

On the kayak, once a week. Twice if I am lucky.

I can pond fish a few days a week. I got skunked there twice last week and have not been back since.

I have had 44 outings since I started fishing this year on 4/15/17 That's the outings that produced fish. I don't count the ones where I catch nothing or you could add about 10 more to the list.

Throughout the main fishing season up here, I'm on the water three or four times a week. That hasn't changed much in the last ten years. What has changed is the amount of time I'm actually on the water. My outings have gotten shorter, so I'm actually spending the equivalent of one less day compared to gen years ago.

I have fished a week in a row several times in my life but not much longer than that. As much as I love fishing it can be a bit too much if its all I do for fun. I have other hobbies and I like to give them time as well.

I just moved cross country, and have been waiting for my start date at my job, which is the 25th. I've fished every day since arriving here on the 5th. That makes 20 days straight for me right now.

During our "season"...IE when the lake is not covered in ice, I probably average 3 times a week, and at the end of each season my boat has usually hit the water 100+ times. I used to fish A LOT during rainy weather, and the periods after rain where it was too wet to get into the fields when I worked on the farm, and  unless it was a slow period between plantings and/or harvesting times rarely did I get to fish much during "nice" weather. And 80% of my trips when I worked there were short evening trips after work, or all day trips when I could fit them in, but there was never any set times to it.

With my new job, this is my fishing routine:

I fish almost every Sunday, sun up to sundown from late March/early April to mid/late Nov.

When there is enough daylight to go after work, usually mid April - late Sept. I go at least once a week, but sometimes 2-3 times a week for 2-4 hours a trip.

I have Thursday's off, and fish from sun up to sun down almost every time.

When I work on Sat., it's generally a 1/2 day, and I spend most Sat. afternoons/evenings after work fishing. If I don't work on Sat. I will be out there from sun up to sun down.

I will not fish at ALL during the winter. And I will not fish if we have family events/etc...

I have fished everyday for months at a time, without a day off.  I fish from the boat on weekends and from the bank during the week.  I am surrounded by man made lakes and fish a different lake almost everyday.  Fishing is my therapy, and my form of mental relaxation.  Put on my ear buds, Pandora, and its just me and the fish.  Any stress from the day just melts away.  It just doesn't get any better then that!

Between May - October, I try to get out about twice a week for several hours.  I don't ice drink so December - March is my off season.  I deer hunt in November and turkey hunt in April.

The most consecutive days I have fished this season is 3 but that's because it was a holiday weekend and we had rainy weather that kept recreational traffic off the lake.  The weather usually dictates how often I fish because I target days with inclement conditions, otherwise I often get run off the lake by recreational boats.

Some people like to jumble up their fishing into 2 or 3 long trips out of town.  I prefer to scatter my fishing out throughout the entire season and go for 3-4 hours each trip.  I'm lucky enough to have pretty good fishing within reasonable driving distance of my house but not everyone has that luxury.

I usually go 3-4 times a week, often at least 3 days in a row depending how my work schedule plays out. Bite has been tough here with the water temps still being as high as they are, so my frequency has dropped a bit over the past couple weeks.
