YoTone Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 There was a contest here recently and for the first time in my life i actually won something. its a Daiwa celios extra heavy fast. Im assuming its a pitching rod into heavy cover but i really havent tried that. if i see heavy cover i tend to use a frog. What other technique can I use this rod for. Im not really into big heavy swimbaits but i do jig fish. Maybe try and trade it for something else? Quote
CroakHunter Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 What are the specs for the rod? Lure ratings and length Quote

CroakHunter Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Be a great rod for pitching heavy Texas rigs or jigs. 1 Quote
38 Super Fan Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Sounds like a great frog rod too. Maybe some big topwaters like a whopper plopper as well. Quote
RichF Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I had that exact rod. It's not as heavy as you'd think. My problem with it was the handle. It was way too short and threw the balance way off. Wasn't a fan. Quote
