I really lucked out and i'll tell you why.

My small town had a huge yard sale all over the place and i looked all around for fishing stuff i could get my hands on for free or not very much.

I spent a total of 20$ and even got a few things for free.

Brand new fishing stringer,  Two brand new only used once medium spin casting combos "Not my kind of setup, But they'll work and i could always change it out for a bait caster reel and use them for bass or something."

A seven foot fly fishing rod that can use up to #5/6 fly line and #4-10 line. "Could use this as a new rainbow trout/panfish/etc setup"

A few tackle boxes for free and it came with old tools and lures/etc.

Overall, I think i did good and am super excited to try these setups for the upcoming stocking of rainbow trouts.

I think out of all the stuff i got the fly fishing rod has to be the coolest and i really want to learn how to use one and at least get one fish on it.

That is cool man and I'm glad you're happy.

But for me that's a whole lot of sale and/or coupon style shopping. Buying stuff you never really wanted or needed because you get a deal on it. That's how they get ya.

Personally 20 bucks is a bad of Senkos, a bag of Trick Worms, and a spinnerbait. Stuff I actually would want and use confidently.

Learn to use that fly rod and you will enjoy it all your life. I'd call that a bargain.
