After waiting many years, I finally got my bass boat. I've been bass fishing for about 12 years or so now and always had to fish from the shore or in a buddy's boat. last year I had a small 14' Aluminum and finally upgraded this year.

Let me know what y'all think.

Sharp boat.  You got the finest rough water ride there is with a Champion.  It was my first bass boat.

Excellant choice!  Is that a 181 or 187?

You'll no doubt get hooked on the Champion ride. Most others who have bought one have.

Like the color combo!

PUNK!!! sure wait a full 90 days AFTER I move to get a nice boat! SHEESH some friend YOU are...  ;D

hahahaha

Seriously Ron is a great guy for an ex-Jarhead. He was my next door neighbor for what almost 3 years?

RON is the guy that lit my bass fishing fire again. He and his wife were watching my apartment when I had to go home when my Step-mother passed away and he saw I had some fishing poles in my garage and told me to get back so we could go fishing, and the rest is history, 2 1/2 years and SEVERAL thousand dollars later I sit in one of the best fishing places in the WORLD!

I miss Ron and his Family they are one of the few GOOD friends you meet in life and keep forever...

Thanks again buddy and congrats on the new Boat... other than ME I couldn't be happier for anyone else getting a ride like that... now you have to plan a vacation down here to put it on some REAL fish as opposed to those Wisconsin runts. Well except the Smallies, I LOVE the smallies!

I am getting a bass boat this friday, mine is not as nice  but I feel your excitement. SWEET BOAT. I love the look of Champion Boats. Keep us upto date on the fish trip and how it goes.

Sweet ride man! I know how your feeling, I just hope that's an old photo. You need to get rid of that white stuff on the ground. Congrat's!!!!

Congrats! Those Champions are great. Very sharp look'n boat. Those Wisconsin bass should consider themselves lucky to get lifted into your boat. :D

Thanks for all of the compliments. To answer a few of the questions:

1. It is an old picture. The snow is gone and we are expecting 70 - 80 degrees this weekend. Just in time for opening day on Saturday. Ican't wait.

2. It is a 171 SC with a 115 HP motor. Had it on the water once already this year and it is a rocket. WOW I can't believe how fast it is.

3. SFC AL - With as bad as your fishing was up here, I couldn't have a new boat and allow you to jinx it. HA HA HA. Anyway, I wish you were still here so we could start doing some serious fishing. Tell the family we said hi.

Great looking boat!!  If you ever need anything worked on, check with Mr. Ernst in two rivers.  He has done all of the work on my and my dad's boat.  Great work and cheap!!!  Ill keep an eye out for you on the water!!

I fish around the Manitowoc area pretty often.  Saw a lunker (6+ lbs for WI) eat a bluegill on Pigeon Lake last year.  Let me know if you want to do some fishing on Winnebago some time this year!!!

Thanks for the advice, Doug.

I fished Pigeon a couple times last year. Did pretty good at English Lake also. Will probably hit up both of them this weekend.

Are there any good bass spots on Winnebago?
