Super User scaleface Posted September 13, 2017 Super User Posted September 13, 2017 You have enough to last a long time . I tend to use 1 buzzbait until the blade or rivet wears through then start on another one . 2 Quote

Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 13, 2017 Super User Posted September 13, 2017 Overdone? Not at all. You got a few dark ones, a few light ones, a few different brands (3 of the better brands, to be exact). You'll wear them out eventually, grind down the rivet on the blade, destroy the skirt, bend the wire beyond repair....but it will be worth it. Good timing too -- buzzbait season starting up again about now... 1 Quote
Super User fishwizzard Posted September 14, 2017 Super User Posted September 14, 2017 I have maybe three buzzbaits, all different brands, and none of them run straight and true. Is there a trick to tuning them, other then just fussing with the wire a bit every cast? Quote

BASS302 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 @Ksam1234, Now's your chance to create an Alabama rig using buzzbaits! LOL! 2 2 Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 I see you bought some cavitron's . Good for you, I see you bought one of the first clacker models. It's buzz bait time. I promise you will catch some giants and also numbers now that the water is cooling . 1 Quote

Fish n Stuff Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Cavitron is by far the best lure I’ve used in almost any situation. I pond fish a lot, and anymore that’s all I throw in the red blade black skirt variety. I once went out on the canoe with two others, all of us using buzzbaits. I had the red black cavitron and they cycled between different other brands they had and out of the 30ish bass we caught I caught 90% of them. They went for the cavitron every time lol 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 25, 2017 Global Moderator Posted October 25, 2017 Really glad that Cavitron has a clacker version now. I fish a lot of really dirty water and it's nice to have that little extra to call them up. The Crock-O-Gator head knocker is another great buzzbait. I like the big 3/4oz one that cast great and has a blade about the size of my outboard prop. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted October 25, 2017 Super User Posted October 25, 2017 Jackall Firecracker is another great clacker model. Quote
