basscat73 Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 I can finally post pics of the "new to me" boat. I'm very happy with it. It's got a few technical issues to take care of, but nothing I can't handle. The fiberglass is in good shape and the motor is in great shape. I made two, 11 hr trips from Wisconsin to Minnesota in order to find a boat. My first trip was for a Cajun, but the boat didn't measure up very well. Then, with the help from fellow bass resourcer, ljmax, I found this Ranger, drove back to Minnesota, and bought it. I won't do too much to it this year, but next year it will get new carpet and a DIY deck extension. This is a great boat with oodles of storage. Cheers! Quote

Black Bass Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 It looks so good I know the bass will be jumping just to get a ride. You'll look like a pro. Quote
basscat73 Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks for the positive opinions. By the way the new captain thanks you too. See below. As you can tell, my little bass master has already taken the controls away from me! He's the one you gotta talk to about going for a ride. ;D Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted May 1, 2007 Super User Posted May 1, 2007 Congratulations on the boat. She is a beauty! Your son is a handsome little devil as well. Quote
Ranger364 Posted May 1, 2007 Posted May 1, 2007 Be careful how you design install the deck extension. When I bought my boat someone really did a number on mickey mousing it. I believe there are drop in extensions for that model. Just remember you can't undrill a hole. Beautiful boat though! Quote
