NJfishinGuy Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 eagle fishmark 480 and the lawrence x135. only thing i see the the wats are higher. what does that change? i can get a x135 for 229 bucks but i dunno if its worth it over the eagle? Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted April 6, 2007 Super User Posted April 6, 2007 For that price, I'd grab the X135 and make a run for the door. Quote
NJfishinGuy Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 i think it might have actually been the x125 sorry, and i cant find the d**n thing online anymore where i seen the deal errrrr..... Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted April 6, 2007 Super User Posted April 6, 2007 I'd still take it. I am running an X125 on the bow because of the amber back light. It is great for night fishing. A friend has the X135 and ******* about the light at night. Quote
Cephkiller Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I've often wondered about this. It is obvious that most Lowrance models have an Eagle counterpart. What justifies the extra cost of the Lowrance? Quote
Super User cart7t Posted April 6, 2007 Super User Posted April 6, 2007 Why do people pay extra for a GMC pickup vs buying a Chevy? Quote
BASSMAN1301599783 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 The lowrance units usally have a few more bells and whistles but thats about it. Eagle is owned by lowrance. You pay for the name in most cases. I went with eagle for my console and lowrance for my bow and I am happy with both. Quote
northgabassfisher Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 i would go with lowrnace save the extra $100 bucks and get the x-135 instade of the x-125 or you can buy my lms-480 for the price of the x-135 http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1175903783 Quote
