depth finder frequency

Would anyone know what frequency the old Lowrance 2330 flasher would operate on.  Also would anyone have a manual for this that they are willing to part with for a reasonable price, or can you point me in the right direction for one.

Tried getting through to Lowrance by Internet, they sent me an email to call their tech support.  I was on hold for 1/2 hour before giving up.

I called lowrance since they're 10 miles down the street (they are based out of Tulsa where I work.)

All the technicians were in a company meeting until monday. I will call them monday for you and see if I can't get an answer for you.

I sent him a message inquiring about it.  If I get an answer before Monday I will let you know.

I have one that I got to work again, so I am going to install it in my bass boat along with my 2 graphs.  I really like flasher units, probably because that's what I learned with, well that is after using an electric clip with a lead ball on it.  I have been thinking about getting another one for ice fishing too!

Most likely 192 khz.  It's possible it could be a 200 khz since Lowarance likes to use that frequency, but would lay odds, being and older flasher,  on it being 192.

Seems the guy that has the 2330 that you saw on ebay figures all 2000 series were 200khz, HOWEVER another guy has a 2330 and he says 192khz??????????? :-/ Guess the only way to know for sure is direct from the factory.  Heck maybe they made some of both!  In either case once I start running I'll know because it will either screw up my 400 Humminbird or the old Lowrance graph.

Sorry, I'm a newb at this... If I want to run two fish finders at the same time do they have to run different frequencies? Can I run two identical units on the same transducer?

If you have two depth finders on the same frequency, and run them at the same time they can cause some screwy readings on either or both. I don't know if placing the transducers far apart makes a difference or placing the wires on different sides of the boat helps.  Same thing can happen if you run your trolling motor off the same battery as your other electronics without grounding the trolling motor or at least the trolling motor battery to some metal below the water line (according to Minn Kota).

I know you can run one unit on two transducers using a toggle switch, but I don't know if you can run two units on the same transducer, but I bet someone here does.

I run one Humminbird mounted at the front on two transducers, one on the trolling motor (a wide side) and one on the transom (Tri-beam) using a toggle switch. I also have a Lowrance graph on the back of the boat. I want to mount the flasher at the console because I can read it quicker then my graphs and a flasher seems to react faster (I.M.O.) then a graph.

Wait until I can afford a camera UFFDA!
