jeepcrazy Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Hey folks, I'm the proud owner (as of today) of a 2004 Xpress H51. She's very pretty, I'll post pictures in another thread after I take them tomorrow. My question is, what was the warranty before 2005 and is it transferable? I was told by the local dealer that the warranty has always been 5 years and that warranties are transferable, but in looking on the Xpress website I see that this was "new for 2005." Now of course I'm worried because this was my justification for paying a little more than I really wanted to for this boat. It is, however, immaculate and I'm VERY excited to have my new boat in the driveway. Thanks for any information you can provide! -JC Quote
marlboroman Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 idk about the warranties, but I am also looking for a nice boat like that... I would like to know about the warranty also Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted March 31, 2007 Super User Posted March 31, 2007 The motor warranty would be my concern not the boat. There really isn't much to be worried about with the boat. It is the best riding alum. on the market. A couple of my friend have been running them for a long time with no problems. XPRESS WARRANTY OUR Warranty statement was re-written for the 2005 model year and includes two major changes! We are excited to announce the addition of a couple of words that will mean a lot to you, the consumer. Those two words are "Lifetime" and "Transferable". Our basic warranty continues to be for a period of 5 years, but we have added a "Limited Lifetime" coverage clause that applies to transom and hull seam welds. Also you now have the ability to transfer these coverages which adds to both your piece of mind and your Xpress Boat's resale value. That does leave room for questions. Maybe you should call them at 501-262-5300 and ask for clarification. Quote
Fedxpress Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 They are very good boats I have a 04 X19. I don't recall it be transferable, but call them. You might have to call a bunch, they are a little slow about getting back to you, or was with some questions I had. i don't believe there has been much of an issue on these boats, Just check out the transom area and bracing. Im sure that if there is something wrong they would rather fix it or help you out then have anybody get hurt in there product. Fedxpress Quote
