Super User RoLo Posted June 13, 2007 Super User Posted June 13, 2007 I didn't know Strike King had a frog Bill Dance advertised the Strike King Grass Frog about 15 or 20 years ago. Though it's a nice looking lure, I've personally done quite poorly with the grass frog. It's made of a horrific plastic compound, and if you let it touch most other plastics it'll melt or do something really bizarre (a lot like their Cyberflexxx 3x plastic). Roger Quote

Oh well....Zoom just for all around variety Cranks- Bandit Spinnerbait- Strike King Buzzbaits- Cavitron Jigs- Vertical Lures Jig-X for heavy thick stuff, Jewel Baot Co. Spider Jig for more finesse. Jerkbaits- Rapala Topwater- Heddon Hooks- Gammy Line- Berkley for mono and flouro, Sufix for braid Weights- Tru-Tungsten and Penetrator Frogs- Stanley I actually liked the old Strike King Grass Frog, had lots of luck on it. Did notice the weird chemical reaction with other plastics too though. Quote
