Yumeya Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I like to drag a tube this time of year, or drop shot a worm...depends on if I can find how deep they are. Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted November 2, 2017 Super User Posted November 2, 2017 I recently came back from a vacation up north and caught a bunch of smallies on small crank baits and small swimbaits in a river, so I would say these 2 lures are worth a try if you are fishing in a river. Quote
fishing_gd Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 55- 60 degress I often look at spinnerbaits or smaller squarebills. War Eagle Finesse is by far my favorite spinnerbait for this time of year. A lot of times a small jig will work too. (Keitech Jigs specifically) Quote
Super User bowhunter63 Posted November 11, 2017 Super User Posted November 11, 2017 Went yesterday all they would hit was a black hair jig .Lift and drop really slow.We have had a cold snap the past couple of days. Quote
Super User MickD Posted November 11, 2017 Super User Posted November 11, 2017 When the water gets down to about 50 many options mentioned will not work as well as a blade bait, a 4 inch swim bait on a darter head jig, or a spoon, all fished by letting them sink to the bottom, then getting into a cadence the fish prefer of jerking/snapping/twitching off the bottom. At this time you might not think there are any fish there until you try this technique. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 12, 2017 Global Moderator Posted November 12, 2017 Water is 57-59 here right now and I think they will hit anything. Saw one bust a shad a couple times on top today Quote
