Quarry Man Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 I am likely going to be getting my first Lew's Baitcaster. I am between the Lew's Tournament LITE G Speed Spool SLP in a 6.8:1 or a Lew's Superduty in 8:1 or a Lew's BB2 Wide Speed Spool in 7.1:1. Looking to buy two reels, not exactly sure what tactic for, but I may buy two of one or one and one. I'm mostly looking at the Lite, but open to suggestions. Thanks. Quote
PNW LipRipper Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I personally enjoy lew's . I own several of them. Go with feel good in your hand if possible bring the rod that you are going to use, most of all what you can afford Quote
Megastink Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I've got a Superduty in 8:1. It's my punching reel and does a d**n fine job at it. My personal favorite model is the Tournament MB. IMO, best value in a reel: aluminum frame, dual cast control, variety of gear ratios. I own six or seven of them. 1 Quote
SMITTY0045 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Can't go wrong with the Lite, it's a great reel, very capable of throwing light weight baits 1 Quote
