Pitt is lot tougher than people give them credit for. They like playing the under dog role. They beat Clemson & Penn State last year. Ten years ago they beat WV to ruin their national championship hopes. 1 Quote

We spent 10 years with him at UGA almost being great. He's a super nice guy and heck off an offensive mind but somehow manages to always squander great opportunities. Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 27, 2017 Global Moderator Posted November 27, 2017 A fan revolt denies a coach being hired??? I'm sharpening my pitchforks and wrapping torches. The common man's voice grew into legislators and politicians voices. Wild day. Knoxville: the ultime democracy! 2 Quote
Super User Sam Posted November 27, 2017 Super User Posted November 27, 2017 Mullen to Florida. Quite a surprise. Canada of LSU to ?????? Maybe yes and maybe no. UCLA got their man. Texas A&M has their sights on Dumbo Fisher, again. And Dumbo may be ready to make a move, now. Gus to Arkansas? Can't see it unless he wants to poke Awbunn in their eyes for spite. Ole Miss just retained their head coach as their head coach. And is Tommy Tubberville ready to move back into coaching? If so, will the Vols take him? What about Les Miles. He wants to get back into coaching. Stay tuned. It is going to be another year of musical college coaches changes. 2 Quote

Fields looks like he is flipping to the Gators, flipped two UCLA O-Lineman and the #2 WR from Miss St. That might be a surprising team next year. Jimbo to A&M is almost a done deal with FSU already interviewing Taggert Canada will stay put I also see Greg Shiano going to UCF to replace Frost. 2 Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted December 2, 2017 Super User Posted December 2, 2017 A week ago tomorrow N.C. State beat It's rival unc 33-21. I was at the game and can safely say it was one of the most satisfying wins In memory. No, the ACC Isn't the SEC and there's no debate about that , although we do have the defending national champion in our conference. College football Is very popular nationwide and Is only gaining in popularity. Go WOLFPACK! 2 Quote

He'd be by far better than anyone since fulmer. And someone please explain why Jimbo fisher would leave Fl. state to go to T. AM. No cut on the aggies , but it seems like a downgrade to me. As a Florida fan , Im fairly excited about mullen. Maybe with his offensive experience things will change in gator land. Couldnt get much worse. Unless your a Vol fan. Quote

Tennessee is in the mix for les miles now. The previous administration wouldn't entertain the idea but they were basically overthrown and the athletic director was fired. So now Fulmer is the new AD and he is interested in les miles. National media has been making fun of Tennessee but they have no clue what all we have gone through over the last decade. Crappy administration has pushed crappy coaches on us since 2008. When they announced schiano (another crappy coach) would be hired, the fans literally revolted. To an outsider it looks horrible but to us, our voices are finally being heard. The previous admin that sucked so bad was who fired Fulmer in the first place, now Fulmer athletic director. Super User jbsoonerfan Posted December 3, 2017 Super User Posted December 3, 2017 CFP committee is a joke!!!!! They have said all along that a Conf Championship game is important (the reason the Big 12 has one now) but they put Bama in who didn't win A. Their conf. or B. their division. Auburn would have been better off sitting at home. Guess they just had to put 2 SEC teams in there. Quote

Well if auburn would have sat at home they would have sat there with 2 losses and missed the playoff anyway. Only way in for them was to beat Georgia in the championship 2 Quote
