I've been an OU fan since I can remember. I was 6 in 1985, I remember The Boz, Holieway (Thompson), Gundy, Jackson, even Moore, Allen, Gregg, then Heupel, White, Bradford, Peterson, Murray, and Mayfield just to name a few. I don't think this team is near as good as teams I have watched in the past. They have dropped the ball many times, but this isn't the team to get it done. IMO, Bama, UG, ND, tOSU, Penn St, Clemson are all above them at this point. I don't care what Iowa St has done since OU, losing to them at home is unexcusible IMO.

Yes, losing to Alabama for a seventh straight time is a hard pill to swallow, but these Tigers, and Tiger Fans, have nothing to hang their heads about. To the contrary, I’m awfully proud of the fight and determination these Tigers showed as they gave Alabama their toughest test of the season. Alabama had a clear advantage in depth, experience, and quarterback play, but LSU showed that they’re not that far behind and a solid recruiting class or two could bring the Tigers right back up to the Tide’s level. As Coach Orgeron said in his post-game comments, “We’re coming. And we ain’t backing down.”

At least yall won yesterday. As much as Id like to stay positive, it looks like we wont get a bowl game this year. We both need new coaches. Both teams have had a tradition of success and our fans are struggling to handle the setbacks we've had recently.

I hate Bama as much as the next guy but overrated because they only beat LSU by 14? Their schedule is weaker this year but they are a very good team.

LSU was not supposed to be able to run on Bama's defense...they did.

 

LSU was not supposed to be able to pass on Bama's defense...they did.

 

LSU's defense throttled Bama's offense with no problems.

 

LSU should have won that game easily!

 

Bama is good but not top 5 caliber ?

Yeah, you guys are definitely experiencing one of the worst seasons I can remember. I felt like McElwain was a strange hire from the get go. But rest assured, you guys have the budget & program prestige to get the ship righted. Plus, you got a great AD now that you stole from my team. ?

I'm telling ya'll this is the most excited I've been about the SEC champ game in quite a few yrs. I have really felt like GA has had a legit shot a beating Bama for a few weeks. They are legit.

 

Bama is good. I'm not so sure LSU really exposed Bama as much as LSU is playing much better ball these last few weeks. LSU has certainly improved greatly since losing to my Dawgs and to Troy. Almost totally diff team. 

 

This GA vs Bama game gonna fun to watch.

 

Just so we're not all SEC talk, can anybody else believe how bad Iowa whooped up on OSU? I didn't catch the game but saw the score, and was very surprised. And with Penn St losing again, does the Big 10 have a legit playoff contender? Is Wisconsin the real deal?

 

Miami still undefeated too. Can they move ahead of Clemson in the playoff picture? This is always fun to watch this late in the season when it gets down to the nitty gritty. The games become so much more important. And somebody always seems to stumble right at the end.

Hard to win when the refs give the other team all the calls or non-calls.

 

Looking forward to the SEC championship game. The Jajaw Puppies may pull a surprise on Bamasux.

I just dont have a DAWG in that hunt. As much as Id like someone to topple bama I just cant bring myself to root for GA.

Wow! Having honest officials who actually call holding really made a difference in the Missysippy State-Bamasux game. Closer than anyone imagined.

 

Wonder what will happen when Bamasux travels to Awbunn in two weeks. Should be interesting.

We finally fired butch jones!!!! Finally!!! I have been waiting for this since the day they hired him in 2012. Look out next week @Catt, we might have a chance now! Actually we still don't have a chance but a team without butch jones as coach is better than a team with him!

Heard one of these schools wants Dumbo Fisher; another Chip Kelly; and Les Miles keeps sending out his resume.

Not particularly worried about that. He shot the rumors down in a recent presser(if it means anything). All the Hog fans I know want Norvell from Memphis. But if he does want to go to Arkansas, I won’t lose much sleep. I just don’t want to go through a coaching search at the same time as all these other SEC schools.
