Kevinator1 Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 I've been fishing with Booyah frogs for the last couple of seasons and can't believe how well they hold up......i've been fishing a private 80 acre lake loaded with grass and nice size bass this year....you can usually catch about 20 bass or more fishing a full day with most being between 3lbs and up to 6lbs. I started thinking the other day that i've been using the same Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher for about the last 4 trips i've had to the lake and the darn thing is still going strong. Still looks good, barely takes on water and the hooks are still pretty sharp. Way to go Booyah.....great quality at a great price. Here's one of the Pad Crasher Bass I caught on Thursday August 24th. 3 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 26, 2017 Global Moderator Posted August 26, 2017 Yep, they're impossible to beat. I've tried others, but always come back to the Pad Crasher. Quote
Dtrombly Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Hands down my favorite. Have caught tons of fish on the same Poppin' Pad Crasher over the last 2 years, including a 6.5lb and it still is flawless, never fills up with water. And at a great price point 1 Quote
Super User tcbass Posted August 26, 2017 Super User Posted August 26, 2017 Tried a Booyah Pad Crasher Jr. for my homemade Teckel Sprinker frog.....it was too small and sank. For some reason the Snagproof Phat Frog also sank. Tried a Spro and it worked. Did buy a new Booyah Pad Crasher, will try that one out to see if it also works. Do you have to squeeze Pad Crashers out or do they have a separate channel to drain water like Snagproof's? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 27, 2017 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 27, 2017 The Pad Crashers self-drain. Honestly, I didn't like frog fishing until I started using Pad Crashers. Now I can't get enough! Quote

boostr Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I always buy them. They can't be beat for the price and they catch fish. I did stray a bit and bought a couple of BPS Kermys cause they didn't have any Pad Crashers in black and blue. Quote
RB 77 Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 My favorite frog by far and its not even close. IMO the absolute best value for the money as well. Quote
primetime Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Hard to say a bad thing about the Booyah Pad crushers. Every version is priced right, have plenty of colors, plus they have the smaller size which is a fantastic small frog as well. I love buying frogs, I like fishing the biggest Live Target 65, but the Booyah standard frog size is pretty much perfect imo. Sometimes you get more value than the price would indicate. I like the pad crushers more than many frogs that cost much more money. The smaller size is kind of a gem, the other small frogs on the market are usually more expensive or just do not allow you to hook up as much. I have a couple of really old pad crushers and I changed out the skirts and they are still going strong. if they tear, super glue does the trick. Quote
boostr Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 And when Dick's has them for buy one get one... or buy two and get one... They're even better. Quote
Vinjints Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 bought my first one last night, leopard frog. hope to get a chance to throw it this weekend. Quote
frosty Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 The pad crashers hold up really good, I've ventured into savage gear frogs, they seem to be on par with PC, maybe not quite as soft but still a good one. Quote
r83srock Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Nice largemouth! I have been experimenting a bit with frogs this year. I found a KVD frog in the water and have caught a ton of fish on it. So now for me it's the SK KVD, several forms of the Scum Frog, and the padcrasher, which I agree, is an excellent choice. 1 Quote

Not sure why these frogs are not more popular, sometimes a rattle helps and I hook up well on them, plus body is softer than a spro but firmer than LT or booyah. Lots of good frogs but SK, Booyah,LT, Snagproof, Spro, Scum Frog, Evergreen single hook and field mouse are ones I use most. Plenty of good frogs, lots of bad ones as well, price is not usually the factor in finding a good frog from my experience. I used to like the old Bully Wa frogs but the new ones sound like you are throwing a brick in the water....Terminator Frogs are actually pretty good for a terminator. Legs dont get in the way often, plus bigger profile and easier to hook up then the really big spro frog for me. Glad Strike King gets some mention for frogs. I read bad reviews on them and wonder if I fish the same ones. Quote
