I watch a lot of videos on YouTube and this one guy uses a pelican bass raider 10e. It seems pretty sturdy but has anyone uses one? Can you stand on it comfortable. I fish mostly small lakes and ponds.. the biggest lake is maybe 120 acres so it's not to crazy.   Is this a decent purchase

I have one and love it. Very stable and great to fish from. Here is a great thread that will answer your questions:

AWesome thank you! I just wondered if I could stand in it comfortable. I have a canoe but It's very wobbly. I can stand but have to use caution, was hoping this was better.

From my experience, it has been very stable in most conditions. I stand in mine all the time.

I fish from the bank, a kayak and a 10'2" Bass Raider. The Bass Raider is much more stable than any canoe or jon boat I've been in.  But having said that, there is still some rocking motion side-to-side that takes a little getting used to but anyone with a reasonable sense of balance will be fine. I doubt it's possible to unintentionally tip one of these over since I've actually stood upright on one of the sides with no problem.

So been lurking around for quite awhile, and finally bought a pelican 10E for my son and I to fish small lakes here in Nebraska. Floor and seats and done next is to install trolling motor and onboard battery charger.

Very Nice - I’m here in Eastern Nebraska and love using my 10e. I’m sure you and your son will have a great time. If you haven’t already done so, take a look at the link I posted earlier in this thread. Lots of great info
