rods 6ft6 medium fast action

So what kind of bass fishing/lures would you use on a 6ft 6 medium fast rod

I just got the Fenwick Silverhawk II on sale at Cabelas, 6'6 medium power/fast action....I intend to use it for poppers.

Poppers and jerkbaits Is what I use mine for, if we're talking casting rods. Could also be a good senko rod if around light cover
