Leaves are changing not yet but the ferns are thinking about it - which means I need to be fishing. A-Jay 1 Quote
Ohio Archer Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Ill take this cool weather over 90s any day of the week. We've been up and down around here all summer. As for climate change, it's been happening since the day the earth was born. We will continue to see changes until we and it dies. Hope I can keep fishing that long. ? 1 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted August 24, 2017 Super User Posted August 24, 2017 Ahhh. Cooling news from the north.Another 6 weeks and the temps and humidity will begin dropping here enough to turn on the fish. Cant wait!! 2 Quote

A-Jay You brought up ferns a week or 2 ago and how you watch for that. I've never in my life paid any attention to them....until now. I put around 150 miles on my work truck a day and work on the side of roads so I see a lot of foliage. I've seen a few ferns starting to change. Thanks for the tip! As for the cool down? 61 so far today. Monday was so hot and sticky I would've been less wet if I would've stayed in a pool, translation I welcome it. We Michiganders know it's going to warm back up. Just as deer season comes around it'll warm and screw everything up. 1 Quote

You can buy 5 acres and the naming rights to Hell, Michigan for a cool $900k. Down from $990,666. No joke! 1 Quote
