BRRRR!

I'll be heading up to Kennebunkport, ME this weekend and we're still low to mid-50's at night. I'll take it over what you're expecting. WAYYYY too early for that.

Are your leaves turning?

Leaves are changing not yet but the ferns are thinking about it - which means I need to be fishing.

Ill take this cool weather over 90s any day of the week. We've been up and down around here all

summer.

As for climate change, it's been happening since the day the earth was born. We will continue to see changes until we and it dies. Hope I can keep fishing that long. ?

You brought up ferns a week or 2 ago and how you watch for that. I've never in my life paid any attention to them....until now. I put around 150 miles on my work truck a day and work on the side of roads so I see a lot of foliage. I've seen a few ferns starting to change. Thanks for the tip!

As for the cool down? 61 so far today. Monday was so hot and sticky I would've been less wet if I would've stayed in a pool, translation I welcome it. We Michiganders know it's going to warm back up. Just as deer season comes around it'll warm and screw everything up.

Now I can tell people to literally go to Hell!  I wonder what the person who named the town was smoking, or if he thought the town was so bad that that it resembled hell...

You can buy 5 acres and the naming rights to Hell, Michigan for a cool $900k. Down from $990,666. No joke!

I trade that with mine. We are gonna have heatwave coming down here in SoCal the next whole week. I'm looking at over 100 degree from Sunday to Wednesday.

The gate I use at Quabbin Reservoir is at the end of Hell Huddle Road.  Now, let's make it a two fer.  On my way to Hell Huddle Road, I pass by Purgatory Chasm.

Yes Sir, up at SSM on the map it has been chilly for the past week.  Can only hope this speeds up the salmon fishing.  Maybe early winter?

Admittedly it's a bit nippy - but it's nothing like what's going on in Texas with Hurricane Harvey & all that mess - so we're good and I hope they are too.
