AustinHellickson Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Anyone have any knowledge of canoeing with a trolling motor? I may get one for my canoe. It is 16' plywood canoe I built. What is better about deep cycle batteries vs normal ones? What would you recommend for a Minn Kota motor? License needed to operate one and do I need to register boat (Washington State)? Any other info is great. Thanks for reading. Edit: what is recommended thrust for a canoe trolling motor? Quote
