Pkfish49 Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 I was looking at some of my pictures from this season and noticed something out of the ordinary on one of the Smallmouth Bass that I caught. I blew up a portion of the picture to make it easier to spot. If you look on the bottom, you can see a small hole surrounded with a reddish mark. Is this some kind of skin lesion? If so, what causes these things? 1 Quote
Super User Scott F Posted August 14, 2017 Super User Posted August 14, 2017 Are you talking about the fishes anus? 12 Quote

If that is indeed the anus, then this is one of the funniest threads here. There is only one hole in the bottom of the picture and that is what I was asking about. 1 Quote

CybrSlydr Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Glad to see this thread so that mine asking about bearings in reels can slip into obscurity. EDIT: d**n, forum doesn't do HTML tags? Quote

GrumpyOlPhartte Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Can't believe there are no "basshole" jokes yet. (Oh, heavens! Bet I get blacklisted for even mentioning it! There goes my standing!) 4 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted August 15, 2017 Super User Posted August 15, 2017 All the bass in a local lake have the same lesion . 1 Quote
