fissure_man Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 It's “dinger” …but really, if it was meant to be pronounced “sinko” they’d have spelled it that way How about this: Fat “ee-ka” or Fat “eye-ka” ? Quote

Super User the reel ess Posted August 12, 2017 Super User Posted August 12, 2017 This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend from WI regarding the pronunciation of crappie. He said "croppie" as most of the country does. I pronounced it the southeastern "crappy". He laughed at mine and told me it's not pronounced that way. I said "Spell crop for me and spell crap for me." Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted August 12, 2017 Super User Posted August 12, 2017 I pronounce it "zinkerz" Quote

nstec Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 The main senko-style worm I really use is the Strike King Zero, so I usually just call them "Zeros." If I do say it though, I'll naturally pronounce it "sinko." I will concede, however, that it probably should be pronounced "saynco." Quote
