Rodney Smith Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 Has anyone else had difficulty with this product? Mine is freezing up and get stuck on the speed of 8 and won't turn right or left. Once it did that and would only go in circles. It looks like I'm gonna have to remove the trolling motor, take it in for service. It is only six months old. From what I see online, it seems like this is a recurring problem. Quote
Super User Scott F Posted August 2, 2017 Super User Posted August 2, 2017 I've got Terrovas on 2 different boats and haven't had a problem with either of them. Quote
Super User tcbass Posted August 2, 2017 Super User Posted August 2, 2017 I had a 2010 Terrova and never had any problems with it. Besides the spotlock being crappy but that was before I learned that it's area was like 15' feet, which makes sense. The newer ones are much better. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted August 2, 2017 Super User Posted August 2, 2017 It doesn't really matter if I've got a new Terrova that is working just fine... if yours is broken, you need to get it to a service center. oe Quote

So far doesn't seem to be. Quote
Super User Further North Posted August 5, 2017 Super User Posted August 5, 2017 Ran two different Terrovas on 4 different boats without any issues that were not user induced. My old one s now on a friend's bass boat, still plugging away. ...but both were pre-2017 models for whatever that is worth. Quote
Rodney Smith Posted August 5, 2017 Author Posted August 5, 2017 I ordered one of the Cable Savr's for Terrova motors. I will keep everyone posted on how it works out. Quote
