Im just curious as to how much Lucky Craft some of you guys own. I never see MegaBass, Evergreen, Daiwa, Rico, etc etc being talked about just LC. So how (many lures) much do you own?

Posted

luckycraft are talked about more because they are more available to people here in the US         the other baits you mentioned are still a year or two away from hitting the US scene     and i own about 35   lucky crafts

I voted none and never will. I can't say that I will never own a LC lure and I'm not against people that use them but for my budget right now they are out of my price range. I can't justify buying one lure when I could be getting 3-5 lures that would possibly produce just as well as a LC depending on conditions.

Gameover has Lucky Craft's on the brain  :o.  I'm in the 70+ category, with well over a hundred.  They are very addictive, because not only do they catch fish, but they are gorgeous baits and just an all around pleasure to own.  You either have no L/C's, or you have several, because once you buy one, more will follow  ;)

I have one. One LC Sammy 100...and I want more LC. Just can't afford it on my budget. I could definately go for some pointers, gunfish, and would peruse some of their cranks.

I've got about a dozen of them. Lets just say that I would much rather dump my LC box overboard, than my swimbait bag. God forbid I ever had a house fire, I would fight till the end trying to get to my big bait stockpile! They sure are sweet baits though. That staysee is one of my all time favorite baits.

Something like Bud's numbers. I can't say exactly because I keep my lures in cases, organized by class, not brand. I have three sizes of Pointers, a few Staysee, Bevy Shad,  Rick Clunn Series 2.5 & 3.5, Sammys, LVR 300 & Max-500. A few Gunfish and Fat CBs are next on the list.

I have been on a megabass. LC and evergreen lure binge as of late and I have about 26 LC, 26 megabass and 12 evergreens...

I am just asking for ebay and BPS gift cards for xmas....

Eric

here is a picture of some of the LC's and megabass offerings...

Excellent way to start off.. The MegaBass Griffons are one of my favs.

Raul I have more Mega as well. I use my LCs more only because its harder for me to get my hands on MegaBass lures for replacement if they so happen get messed up then it is to replace my LCs.

On a side note: Does anyone know when or even IF MegaBass is going to be more aggresive in the USA Market?

I was gonna say never, but then decided to be honest with myself, and say none, YET. I like the looks of these baits. The attention to detail is marvelous. The price is not. But, at those prices, the sales numbers would be somewhere between none and negligible if they didn't produce. How's that for some back-handed logic? I'm sure a few are going to find their way into my selection of cranks. That's what I'm afraid of. Once I get a few, more are sure to follow. That's what happened when I tried the X-Rap.

The monkey has opened another ***** in my armor.

Cheers,

GK

Well, I get what your saying about the X-Rap. Lucky Craft has two baits I could never go without in my arsenal and that is their Sammy 100 series and their Live-Pointer 95 MR series. Those two baits of theirs give me the best overall results when compared to other similar bait offerings from other companies. For cranks I could have all sorts of Lucky Craft and other company cranks but I settle for the cheaper Rapala DTs for the same reason I buy the Sammies and 95MRs. Point is I buy what works and will keep buying them if they work for me but if they dont work no way am I buying them just because their a hard to get (maybe) 20 dollar or more lure. Its like using your walmart rod for years and then you get a G Loomis rod, after you see how that Loomis rod feels no way will you want to even touch that walmart rod again, same goes for different baits on the market.

I have 2 Sammy 100, 2 Pointer 100, and 2 BDS series 3's. I am looking to get some more. If anyone has any used for sale let me know.

I am only turning 15 so I have more than most kids my age I think...

I love the pointers I just need to get a few in the 78 size. Do you guys/gals use a spinning or casting outfit for throwing jerks?

Thanks

Hence the name, lol  So far, plenty of fish in the boat w/o having to drop $20/ lure.

If all else fails, maybe someday but.......

Unless RW is willing to adopt me, I probably won't ever own any lucky crafts  (or stellas for that matter, lol)
