Ran a search and only saw three references to Ninja Weed Cutters, and they were pretty light on detail.

Saw a few things on other forums, but wanted to check in here to see if there were any negative experiences before I plunk down cash.

There's a couple spots on local lakes where something like this looks like it'd be great, but I ant to make sure I'm not missing a negative.

I'd probably buy two, they would be mounted on a Terrova 112.

I have a Ninja Blade on my TM. This thing works great. I fish some might thick lily pads and it really goes through them. My tm is 55lbs and I can't image what a larger thrust would do. Easy to install, no negatives. I really don't think you will need two but I don't guess it would not hurt.

Thanks.

I've read that two work best, on against the skeg, one 180° opposite.

I will let you know how it works when I have it installed and have tried it.  Probably by next weekend.

Long story involving lightning, tripped circuit breakers, blown fuses and the deadest batteries I have ever seen, but I haven't been back out yet.  Tomorrow if all goes well.

OK, so here's the feedback:  Cuts through weeds like a weed wacker...only better.

Works fine at low speeds (down to 2 on a 36 volt Ulterra)...really works at higher speeds.  Went though some thick stuff that normally would have slowed the TM way down, and left a bunch of crap hanging on the motor when I pulled it up.

Speed through the weeds was great, and there were not weeds on the TM.

I'd buy it again.

This review is going to sell them another one. Thanks!!!

Have you ever looked at a big weed patch and thought, "I wish there was a slot up the middle that'd give fish an edge to hold on."?

...with the Ninja Weed Cutter you can make that slot...

I'd expect a check in the mail pretty soon if I were you. That would be a good commercial.

Mine arrives tomorrow. I'll install it and add my thoughts on Sunday.

I've had mine for 2 seasons now. Best investment on a trolling motor I've made! I have it on the Ulterra.

Little late to the party but my choice was the "Grass Goat" for the Potomac and the heavy grass we have.

I have 2 on my TM and not sure if they work or not really. I go through the same stuff as before but i don't think they'll hurt anything. Pretty pricey for what it is imo!

It works better for thicker diameter vegetation, link pads and cattails. I still get milfoil wrapped around my TM, and I even have a Wedless Wedge II.

Mine leave (I put two on) a path of floating, chopped vegetation.

...did you follow installation instructions as to placement?

Yeah they're installed right. It goes through just about anything but doesn't really leave a trail.

I go through lily pads with mine and I look back and it looks like a road..
