My SB / CB rod currently has a Chronarch Ci4 HG mounted on it and its wayyyy to fast.  Looking for a good value reel to perform the task. Prob. mid 5's to low 6's in gear ratio etc.

Can be JDM.  Looking at the Zillion SV TW and the Stile.  Both are 22.8" per revolution vs 30" for the Chronarch.

Ideas???

Both of those apps fish well for me on something in the 6 ratios. So if you like Daiwa anything 6:3 would be ideal. Your budget seems to be under $300 so you have pretty endless options. I don't believe there is a 'best' reel for what you want but besides ratio and price I would probably opt for something that is pretty solid with a mostly aluminum frame as opposed to something graphite or magnesium. You also want something with a very solid gear set that withstand the constant use of resistance baits. I would think any flavor of the Tatula platform would be a good choice as would the Zillion SV TW you mentioned as well.

Doesn't take anything special. I use an old school white Chronarch for mine. I prefer something in that lower to mid 6 ratio for mine.

Zillion for days,it casts much further than chronarch and is hard to backlash cause of the sv spool

If you can swing the Zillion SV, I'd go with that, but in the 6.3:1 gear ratio.
