Can anyone ID this bait and who makes it?  It is in an email from Bassin' Magazine, and I just can't place it.  Looks neat enough, and bait monkey says "get some"...

Manufacturer is Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits.

The exact final name GYCB gave to the bait is something I don 't know, I know that it 's a soft plastic craw imitator first launched by GYCB for the japanese market, GYCB was going to launch it in the domestic market by the end of last year but for US patent problems they decided to leave it in stand by status.

They actually introduced the bait last fall for about one month, then their sales were shut off due to legal issues.  I believe that ZOOM has a patent on the little nubs on the flaps.  Has no effect on the overseas sales, only in the US.  So, you'll have to do eBay or a Japanese site.

I have three bags left as collectors items.

I think that they will be back sometime with changes to the design.

GYBC is introducing the Flappin Hawg-II on July 11 at the ICAST Show.  Dealers should have them in stock shortly thereafter.

Here is what it looks like, I guess they changed the design enough to avoid infringing on the copyright.
