Micro guide rods for froggin

I just bought a new frog rod. It's a Lew's mach speed stick 7ft 4in, heavy power, fast action with 50lb power pro, but it has micro guides. Would that be a problem when frog fishing? I haven't fished with it yet, but it casts 50lb braid no problem.

You shouldn't have any trouble at all.  Maybe watch the guidelines to see if they get clogged up from reeling in grass, moss....

No prob, asuming you are rigging straight braid

I've been using the same ol' Kistler Mag with micros for the past 5 yrs for froggin.  No issues at all.
