Alright so I need some advice! I have the evx 6'8 m topwater jerkbait rod and love it. Since I decided to let my lowrider worm and jig rod become property of lake ouachita I have to get a replacement. My significant other says NO WAY am I spending over 120 for another rod lol. Is the okuma evx 7'2 medium heavy a suitable replacement? It'll mainly he used for t-rigs some light c-rigs maybe a chatterbait here and there. Is there a better option in this price range?

130$ 6'8" MXF St. Croix Mojo Bass. You won't regret it.

I know it 10 more than 120,but she'll get over it. I read that wrong initially, I thought you wanted to replace the 6'8". 7'1" MHF Mojo Bass. Same "she'll get over it" applies.

If you can handle the doghouse for a couple days the 7'2" MHF Tatula rod for 150$

So is the mojo bass better than the premier? I ask this because I have a premier that may have seen better days and I was thinking about using warranty on and saving some $$$ and staying in the the ole ladies good graces

For 10 less than the premier you get an SCIII graphite blank instead of the SCII the premier has.

Definitely use the warranty on the premier and save the argument for when you want to get something more expensive. Honestly, that's one of the main reasons I buy St. Croix rods. You know it will be what you want without having to spend $$ and hear an earful(might even get laid for saving $).
