Daiwa box colors

Someone please tell me the story on the different colors of the Daiwa boxes, Is it year model, country of origin or grade of reel?

This old dummy needs to know.

Black = US model, White = Japanese model

My Steez SV TW 1012 came in a black box.  JDM reel.

I have black , green , red and blue boxes was just wondering

My JDM zillion and alphas came in white boxes, my USDM spinning reels came in black. Iv seen red boxes on really old team daiwa millionaires and spinning reels, i may have seen blue but cant recall, never seen green

My Bad, never do anything without your glasses on , the green was Shimano as was the red

whatever is lying around. I have mostly black US reel boxes, but have also had green and white. My Emeraldas is a black box and that is Daiwa AU I believe.
