Matt_3479 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 What's the difference between these two reels other then price? Was looking at purchasing my first baitcaster and was originally going be the tatula sv tws reel but it's taken forever to come in so decided to step up to zillion sv tws but found the steez sv for 15 dollars more. What is the difference? Quote
Blacktail 8541 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 The big difference is that the Steez is a magnesium frame and the Zillion is an Aluminum alloy frame. Also the Steez has more bearings. The Zillion is also salt water approved I think, Some one will correct me if I am wrong. The TATULA sv tw is on ebay for $135.00 Takes about 4 days to receive, I just purchased 2. Quote

What is the difference? Maybe I am not reading this correctly, but if you can get the Steez SV for only $15 more than the Zillion that is what you should do. I have the Zillion SV TWS and love it. Steez is even more refined. Quote
LxVE Bassin Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 What website are you finding this stuff? Please fill me in so I can order a left hand 7.3.1 Quote
Matt_3479 Posted July 23, 2017 Author Posted July 23, 2017 I live in Canada so it's probably a lot more expensive then what you're paying anyways lol. But the zillion sv tws is 399.99 and the steez sv is 419.99 so it's 20 dollars more I just double checked (regular 569.99). So it's a great price but doesn't have the t-wing system and was wondering how much of a difference that made? I'm inclined to purchase the steez as it's a great deal here but technically the zillion I'm looking at has more of the modern technology right? Which is better? Quote

Super User fishwizzard Posted July 24, 2017 Super User Posted July 24, 2017 I have a Zillion SV TWS and I like it far less than I do the other Daiwa reels I own. It doesn't feel as sturdy or smooth as the other ones and is less comfortable to palm then an sv103 or sv105. Quote

Cause the one I got to handle in the store felt incredible Quote
