Found a SC Legend Tournament Walleye rod for about $100 at my DSG. It's a 6'3" M/XF. I'm not 100% sure about SC ratings and how the walleye ratings differ from bass rods. Any guys with experience either drop shotting, using SC rods or walleye rods know if this would be a good drop shot rod?

The bass an walleye blanks are the same. Just different paint/decal jobs. Walleye series spinning rods tend to use smaller stripper guides too.

I had the 6'3" M/XF Eyecon way back when they first came out. Made a good all purpose spinning rod if you like shorter rods. I don't. I didn't keep it long.
