Falkus Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Shimano Curado .... That's what I would pick out of the three. Quote

Super User fishnkamp Posted July 18, 2017 Super User Posted July 18, 2017 My vote would go to the Daiwa Tatula CT. I have sold off my Shimano Curados and Chronarchs and do not miss them at all. I fish with 1 Daiwa Exceler, 4 Tatula Type Rs and 2 CTs. It is personal preference I am sure. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted July 18, 2017 Super User Posted July 18, 2017 I've used them all, Shimano for me. Like as with most things, personal preference as they will all do the job. I've owned Chevy's, Ford's, and Dodge's, always go back to a Chevy. Quote
d-camarena Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Personal preference, id pick the curado. Its just a great reel. Quote

I understand it comes down to personal preference just didnt know if one is better then the other Quote
Falkus Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Like everyone says, some of the reels might fit better on your hands than others. I have been picking Shimano every since I got the Curado 70. I have sold all of my reels and replacing them with them since I like the small profile and it just works good for me. The only outcast of my reels is the Daiwa Zillion 100SHA 7.1.1 which is set up with my Dobyns Champion as Lipless setup. Its perfect for me and I can throw miles on this without any backlash... Everyone has their preference, just go out and try ..bring your rod to the store and test it with choices that you like. Quote

Chance_Taker4 Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 If you are buying now my vote would be the Tatula CT but if you can wait my vote would be the Gen 4 Revo SX. you will get the features you see in a Revo STX now in the SX price point once the Gen 4s come to market in the next couple months. Biggest upside to that is dual brakes. Quote
