I just bought this rod for flipping and  pitching , will it work well for frogs?

1/4-2 oz    med heavy fast action fr765  flipping stick

I don't know but I have a frog rod that I'm using for flipping on Saturday for a tournament. I suppose if a frog rod makes a good flipping rod then it should work the other way too right?!

Not really. It's a better punching rod or heavy cover flipping. 735 would have been a better choice.

Not the perfect rod for frogging but it'll work. I've thrown frogs on my FR765FLIP. The best choice would be the FR735C. Perfect rod for frogs. Love all my Dobyns rods.
