Swimbait fishing pressured quarry stocked with trout

I fish a small sand stone quarry it's about 20 acres and gets a lot of fishing pressure everyday at deepest it's around 26ft deep. The lake is stocked with trout so do you think using a trout swimbait would work I've never seen anyone using one and any tips on using it would be appreciated

not a bad idea but it depends on what the others fishing there are targeting. depending on the swimbait your retrieve can vary a soft plastic swimbait like a hudd can basically be slow rolled throwing up from deep to shallow and across points are a good idea. basically lock it in your hand and throw it all day

Yea I'd say your plan should work excellent. If it's like most of the quarries I've seen I imagine it has some pretty steep walls. You might have success fishing a hudd mere inches from a wall if you feel you can make the cast.

Yeah the quarry has a flat that's about 6ft deep then drops of to about 26ft should I fish the deeper areas when it is sunny and hot or all the time in the summer even if it is an overcast day?

i would try to fish on that ledge the bass may be suspending on the wall a little below the flat and coming up to ambush

@Scarborough817 Pretty much said what I was going to. I assume this water is pretty clear? I'd focus on the deep drop for the most part. They might be more willing to come up onto the flats during lower light conditions like overcast days and night time. Wind might help too if it is blowing up against a wall or drop off and bringing bait right over their heads.
